Syed Kamall, the Conservative MEP for London, met with North's team to explain as our MEP, what he is doing in relation to the European Commission Draft Directive on Alternative Investment Fund Managers. Syed is a reporter in the European Parliament in relation to the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee as it reviews the legislation in the bicameral process with the European Council. In other words, he will personally be involved in reviewing the draft directive.
In 2009, North decided to become a sponsor of the Princes Trust. This commitment is to support the charity in more that just sponsorship but also in the giving of our time and expertise.
